Our new office is located at Lion Court within the Staunton Harold Estate. There are two entrances into the grounds, Heath End and Ashby Lodge; however, only Heath End can be used as an exit. There is a third entrance via Melbourne Lodge, although this is for private use only.

If you have entered via Ashby Lodge, follow the driveway until you pass the garden centre on your right. You will reach a T-junction and you should take the sharp right turn to head past the Ferrers Centre (on your left) and garden centre (on your right). As you approach the rear of the Hall, follow the road around to the left and enter the car park. Then, on foot, head towards the house and follow the signs for the entrance to Lion Court.

If you have entered the grounds via the Heath End entrance, simply follow the road and carry straight on between the Ferrers Centre and the garden centre. Our car park will be on your right, from which you can make your way on foot to Lion Court.

In the unlikely event that the main Lion Court car park is full, there is an overflow car park situated at the bottom of the rough ground car park which you would have passed if you entered from Ashby Lodge. To reach Lion Court from here, simply take the footpath over the small bridge and follow the path behind the garden centre towards the Hall and Lion Court. Please note that the garden centre car park is exclusively for visitors to the garden centre.

To reach the estate from Nottingham, at junction 24 of the M1 take the A453 towards and past East Midlands Airport. Continue on the same road as you head through Breedon on the hill before turning right onto the B587 followed by a quick left at the Ashby Lodge entrance.

If travelling from Birmingham, leave the M42 at junction 13, taking the first and third exits at the consecutive roundabouts. Follow the B587 until you take two sharp left turns to meet the Ashby Lodge entrance.

Heading from Derby, follow the B587 around Melbourne before taking a right turn to follow the signs to Calke.  Continue to follow this road, including the left-hand bend at the edge of the Calke Abbey estate, and the Heath End Entrance will be on your left.

From Leicester, take the A511 to junction 13 of the M42 and then follow the directions from Birmingham (above).

From Burton, follow the A511 towards junction 13 of the M42 but take the first exit at the first roundabout on the edge of Ashby and head down the B587 towards the Ashby Lodge Entrance.
